I read saavikam77's awesome S/B Nutcracker fic a few days ago, and it's weird and dreamy and nice, and I loved it. But then I got to thinking about the nutcracker.

Dude, I only speaka de english, so hearing in any other language is going to be accompanied with subtitles and a round of, "who did they get to do that voice??!" :) Don't worry, I used to watch Care Bears and My Little Pony and watching it in spanish once was like...O_O "say wha?!"

Once you hear something in one language, having it translated in another always....how do I say it nicely...freaks you out a bit. :) Happens everytime they english dub something I'm used to listening to in Japanese.

Yeah, that's the problem with being raised in french, though: I can't stand the originals. Lol. That's why "Bon Cop, Bad Cop" was the greatest thing ever: it's a fully bilingual movie about one Québec cop and one Ontario cop, who have to work together, and who switch between languages without transition. Canadians movie FTW!
