Our neighborhood seems quiet and over all I think Lahore is more peaceful than many cities. I just went out to buy vegetables, chat with the man who runs the newspaper stand and stretch my legs in the sun. Many shops were closed, but some were open as well. Last night on the news for constant reports rolled in of banks, police stations, PML-Q

hey there a & d. thanks for the posts. i've been traveling to various family things and am without good access to news, etc so it was great to quickly catch up on what's happening in pakistan from people on the ground. watching random clips on cnn, etc in hotel rooms and aunt's houses does nothing to clarify what's actually happening. hope you both remain well. and blessings for the new year! love, brenna
