I've never been fond of girls' adventure stories but your suspense-thriller, Pollyanna Against the Reich or, Hitler Learns the Glad Game, was a page-turner of the highest order. Bravo!

Many authors of children's books -- Felix Salten and George Selden, for example -- were known to write 'adult' fiction pseudonymously. I see no reason why a writer of masculine fare shouldn't indulge in a spot of Pollyanna now and again. Having said that, the reader is grateful for the absence of the musical interlude.

And I'm glad that we were spared the lederhosen.
