+ a family to eat dinner with (RB etc. happened to be at dinner last night because they won't be able to come on Thursday. Hadas made me a silly drink (fun with the soda machine), Adeena sat on my lap, Zev told us all about the book he is writing--again--and Maayan was just adorable.)

everyone in noho keeps talking about the snow! i am oh so jealous! it is 70 here. SEVENTY. that is no-hope-for-snow-in-the-immediate-future weather. and it's not like indiana is one of those places you go because it's warm. CRAZY. hopefully it will snow enough to be pretty but not enough to mess up travel.

also, how do you feel about umbrellas in snow? these intrigue me. i had never see it until i came to smith (and i am well acquainted with snow).

i think that that's exactly what ended up happening, which was perfect. and though 70 is CRAZY warm, i'm sure we'll all have more than enough cold time in the snow up at Smith very soon. haha.

also, i think that umbrellas in snow are silly, because snow is meant for getting all over yourself, but i suppose that if you desperately wanted to stay dry they're convenient. but yeah, definitely different.

(also, sesame street on tv is singing a song called "it feels good when you sing a song." they win. :) )
