What was the first song you remember hearing by 5?
The Littlest Birds Sing the Prettiest Songs (I thought they were singing "the little ass birds sing the pretty ass songs.")

What is your favorite album of 9?
A ma Zone

What is your favorite lyric that 6 has sung?
"Blessed is this life and I'm gonna celebrate being alive"

How many times have you seen 4 live?
Never, though I would have been the happiest 6 year old in the audience (that's when I loved him the most)

What's your favorite song of 7?
Better Together, Bubble Toes

What is a good memory you have considering the music of 10?
Micheal Franti was the first person who made singing about food sexy. He/Spearhead also has wonderfully radical politics and they include it the music.

Is there a song of 3 that makes you sad?
Well, "Put Him Out" is talking about domestic violence, but it's packaged in this great hip hop song that is about a girlfriend empowering a friend to stand up for herself, so it's not really sad.

What is your favorite lyric that 2 has sung?
Well, because Habib Koite doesn't sing in English or German, I can't understand his lyrics. Beautiful voice and amazing guitar!

What is your favorite song by 9?
"Rafiki." It helped me get through my tough times when I lived in Boston by bringing me into my body (dancing, re-awakening my soul)

How did you get into 3?
Randomly saw and listened to her in the music store. I've been passing on the love ever since...

What was the first song you heard by 1?
Aah, I can't remember the name of it! It's an old one, about a couple. Damn, my memory. The next one I remember is "Building and Bridges".

What is your favorite song by 4?
"You May Be Right". I can still remember squealing as a kid when I heard the opening of the song, glass breaking.

How many times have you seen 9 live?
Yes! Twice. They are amazing. The first time was at Bumbershoot 2000 in the opera theater.

What is a good memory you have concerning 2?
Oh, my gosh. It's my favorite story. I waited outside the UW theatre for a ticket because it was sold out and ended up getting one that was in the center fifth row. I sang along to every song (as much as I can sing a language I don't know). By the time the finale was starting, I couldn't sit still anymore so I went out into the aisle to dance and Habib Koite came out into the audience and grabbed my hand and took me onto stage to dance!!! It was amazing.

What is your favorite song of 1?
Can't pick. "Marrow" is the one I've listened to the most. Haunting and beautiful.

Hey, this thing doesn't ask about #8, so I'm gonna say my faves by her. .
Saw her live for the first time in October 2005. Her sidekick extraordinaire is charming and wore a sequined elvis-like outfit.
