Time ground in a mortar

It's strange what took me 2 hours to paint in egg tempera would have taken me only 15 minute max in acrylic. This is where the mediums majorly differ. I'm captivated by the process and absorbed in re-learning. I haven't challenged myself in this way in very long while. My second run worked out much better. I can't even imagine working with egg tempera... and... paint? Sounds unbelievably odd and kinda creepy lol.

My ex was into Battlestar Galactica... it's a pretty good show... of course, I haven't kept up with it since kicking him to the curb. :)

it is odd specially since I have to be really careful when handling the pigments. Breathing them in is really bad for you. Its good though. Some nights I am finding I am positively jubilant and others I feel like I am losing a war.

You should start watching it again, its a good show, it doesn't deserve the curb too:)
