PREFACE:For my forensic anthropology course, we were split into groups for a 'study of decomposition' exercise. How are we going to study decomposition, you ask? Well, I'll tell you. By burying a PIG, and checking up on it periodically throughout the semester. Pigs are the closest animal to humans in terms of skin composition and decomp processes.

the pig def came in that box, haha.

the other surface group had to clothe the pig to see if it had any effect on decomposition rates, versus our naked pig. also to see if animals, bugs, etc. are attracted to one pig or the other. and to see, when it's fully decomposed into just skeleton, if the bones remain in the articles of clothing.

the pic doesnt even look real it looks like rubber. and that pic of it with it's legs spread eagle, that's just straight up diiiiiiiirrrty

the piggy's snout was the cutest. sigh.
