I loved it! It wasn't necessarily what I was expecting, but it was still awesome! Matt and Jenna played the emotion in the episode just right. Every time it showed them with tears on their faces I felt myself crying in sympathy. I really really really liked what they did with Clara's story. I love that she was there for all the Doctor's big moments, that she was "born to save the Doctor." The Classic!Who montage at the beginning? So cool! I can't wait to see if fandom does something interesting with TimeLady!Clara, or any of the Clara echoes. And that ending? Oh my god, November can't come soon enough. But in the meantime, I bet there are gonna be some bitching fanfictions dealing with that Not-Doctor. I am fascinated by the idea of a part of the Doctor being disowned by the other incarnations because he did something so awful they don't want to claim it. What could it have been? Not ending the Time War, the Doctor owns up to that pretty readily (re: The Doctor's Wife; "Fear me, I've killed all of them."). And this would have had to
