That was bloody brilliant. I don't even have words for how brilliant that was. It was set in the ballon!verse, and it had Ace, and Canton, and it gave an explanation for that dwarf star alloy.

Very, very nice indeed. :) I don't know what I liked best about it - the historical mashup (Pope Richard?!), the Who continuity references (and Ace!) or Canton's great Chandler-esque private eye patter, but I do know I liked it rather a lot. :)
