I've heard something like that quote from Rob Nash, but it basically was responding to people who ask why there isn't a take your son to work day when there's a take your daughter to work day.

'Same reason there isn't a white history month.'

Pretty much sums it up.

Fair point, I should elaborate and say that people who take a conservative stance on every issue, especially homosexuals, suck at life. ;) To use the higly techincal term.

I was also making the distinction between convservatives and republicans, one being in my mind (as you pointed out, incorrectly.) as someone who takes a conservative view on most (if not all) issues, and a Republican just being someone who belongs to a political party and probably doesn't share all of their peers' expressed opinions.

Should have just stuck with "the far religious right".
