According to my recording engineer friend, Trevor (who I'm pretty sure I've told you about), an amazing band from Boston is playing at a shitty venue down in Gaithersburg on Thursday, if you're interested. I can't remember what they're called. He says they have two female vocalists, a flute (maybe? I might just be crazy in the brain) and a cello and such.
The venue is only shitty because you have to swing your barstool all the way around to see anything, and it's really small, and... well, it's in fucking Gaithersburg.
At any rate, Trevor told me to bring people out, and you're Mr. Roadtrip, so I figured I'd let you know.
Sounds good, but I'm going to be pretty much living in the studio until at least the first of August (the deadline for finishing the actual recording, at least), and maybe for a week or so after that, too, working on the production and mastering. I'm thrilled to be doing it, though; if several weeks of intermittent hermitage mean cutting a demo we're really happy with, it's more than worth it.
