Silver Spring is further away from the very occasional random gaming at my place. Also, it's pricy.

On the other hand, it's close to the AFI Silver. So I would totally still come to see you.

good point. but i will still totally make the trek, and the extra distance is not enough of a deterent for GAMING. or, you know, other things, particularly on weekends. i'm thinking it's more of a deterrent for my week night social life.

which maybe just means more organizing of week night shows, etc in dc proper. hmm.

where are good places to procure:
-used books;
-yarn; and

I am far more familiar with the Rockville area than the Silver Spring area, but I know someone who just moved out there and will eventually be finding the things you are looking for. I'll get her to give me ideas to pass on

I used to work there. Silver Spring is the best city ever. Move there now. You'll love every minute of it.
