Like word, yo. I'm a Richmonder too. Some form of social math dictates t hat a stop becomes more convincing with more people fit into it.
(Also, I'll be in the NoVa area the weekend of Sept. 1st. Lyle is coming with me to a family wedding on the 1st itself, but if you want help the next day, that could be fun. I like helping people move - I'm helping my friend Mary move again tomorrow - I feel like I might be putting karma into the moving bank that I will inevitably take from sometime in the future.
i'm not sure how i do it either, to tell you the truth. i'm pretty tired of it. but finances dictate that i can't afford to live alone right now and i didn't have the energy to play the craig's list game to find a new roommate to fill the other room.
really, i had actually planned on sticking this one out awhile, but matt got an unanticipated scholarship/financial aid package he couldn't refuse - and i don't begrudge him that (mostly).
i've had to make all of my moving decisions in a relatively quick turn around time recently (usually within a 30-day window), so i'm looking forward to having a year-long lease. which means that if i decide something else will work better for me then i have a good long time to research it instead of rushing into something.
anyway, i wish i could have stopped up in richmond - but i flew both ways. =\ thanks for the offer though, and i'll certainly let you all know the next time i'm passing through.
