So, turns out that I made a whole bunch of Avatar: The Legend of Korra icons the other day! They're all of my favorite character, Chief Lin Bei Fong, daughter of Toph. Feel free to use any of them that you like, leave feedback, use them as bases, etc. Just let me know if you take any, please! Thanks!

Timothy convinced me to get around to watching the original show, and Korra started coming out basically exactly as we'd finished. It seemed a natural progression!

I don't like it nearly so much as the original show, but it's still a fun time and we watch the shows online every week. :)

It's definitely different, and I feel like it's almost more serious, in a way. Except for the episodes which are almost entirely about Pro Bending, everything seems to have a darker tone. It's interesting that they chose to age up the protagonists at the same rate as the kids that were watching the first show. They're doing more with themes that resonate with that age group, I think.

I like both shows, but I like them in different ways, I think. It's hard for me to compare them.
