So I finished Season 4 and I don't understand why Rose had to go back to the other dimension? I mean she doesn't belong there, she's not from there, her being there was an accident.
And if Donna could be a human time-lord hybrid then doesn't that mean the other Doctor is going to burn out too?

Rose stayed in the alternate dimension because her parents were there. Also, the Meta-crisis Doctor couldn't exist in the same dimension as the real doctor because of the problems that would happen. Meta-Crisis Doctor needed Rose to tame his rage because she had done it before. Besides, Meta-Crisis Doctor actually told her he loved her as opposed to the real Doctor who has issues with commitment and abandonment.

Meta-Crisis Doctor wouldn't burn out because he was half Time-Lord still with all the information in his head. Donna was all human with everything in her head. It would destroy her because she wasn't built to contain it.

Also, bit of canon info for note: though it was not actually in Journey's End, there is a scene that was cut in which the Real Doctor gave Meta-Crisis Doctor and Rose a piece of the Tardis Coral so they could travel the universe and time in the way it was meant to be for both of them.
