Interesting stuff. I can understand how the "face" on Mars has generated so many theories as to it's origin. We have so many unanswered mysteries right here on earth... Stonehenge, the pyramids, the Nazca Lines, Machu Pichu, even our own Anasazi ruins in the southwest. These mysterious places fuel our imaginations... and even though that face is a geographical feature, it sure DOES look like something someone might have made.

I have always been a Scientist and Science Fiction fan all my life. Although an Amateur Scientist, my imagination has soared often throughtout my life and that is why I love the Sci Fi and Horror stories, books and movies---and Disney World.

I can remember when the "face" was first discovered on Mars---I was in College and in an Astroomy class, we had huge puzzle type maps that when pieced together forned the surface of Mars. There in fron of us stared the face. All of us students were stunned by it and the Cydonia area of Mars which appeared to have buildings and walls much like an ancient city. It appeared to even have runways for some kind of aircraft. 30 years later on closeup it was discovered that these features were all natural. What a let down!
But since, water has been discovered on Mars which in thrilling.
Hope for life there is not all lost.

Just letting know I'm still alive... Have been busy for a while... Thought it was a better way to react on something with a face, although it is 3 am and I have been drinking with some friends of mine... Finally weekend... Maybe it's better if I continue this tomorrow... Greetings to Scott... (he made me realize I didn't react on your live journal at all for a while...)
