Had our 20 weeks scan, bang on 20 weeks... and Sproglet tied itself up in such knots, in the most awkward position, so we have to go back in 2 weeks to do it all again. They could only get a few of the measurements they needed.

But we did find out that we're having a.........well, we know, but you folk will have to wait and see :D

Congratulations!

My 20 week scan took ages and I started to worry, "Is there a problem", to which the reply was "Oh no, baby just won't lie still to be measured". So be warned - TD's still as active 27 years later ;)

In that case this one's going to be a World Champion flamenco dancer. We were in for an hour and twenty mins, and I think they got just under half of what they needed... But it wasn't being active, just massively awkward.

I had the same with my youngest, awkward buggers some babies, but it's an extra excuse to have a look at them so not all bad ;-)

I can't pretend I'm sad for a second really because it means we get to see it again! :D (and an afternoon off work is frankly always welcome right now!)

Of course my scans were back in the dark ages of the 1990s when there was no 3-D imaging or anything like that, and ALL THREE of 'em managed to turn so that I had no idea what any of them would pop out as. I had Mom's intuition about Elder-Son and Daughter (I even knew that Daughter was going to come at least a week before they calculated she would) but I had absolutely no clue what Younger-Son would be ( ... )

We don't get 3D scans now. Not on the NHS! You can pay for private - there's scanning places everywhere it seems. We're not going to, I find them slightly freaky tbh, they look like bad clay models ( ... )
