1. Increased choice is increased democracy. I for one would like the chance to say "I'd mostly like them to get in, but if not then I'd prefer them". And if you don't want to vote more than once - then don't! (you don't have to)

It seems to me that I often find myself in the position of being nagged about my music purchases.
