We didn't get to the Scottish Festival....so we decided to take a hike along a locale historic trail instead. It was the scene of the Third Battle Of Winchester (over and over the info signs kept telling us that it was the bloodiest battle in the Valley). There is even a marker for the "Bloodiest spot' in the Shenandoah Valley.....I wonder if there
