Sort of a day nothing day. Absolutely nothing planned which is so different. from the norm. Dave fixed the horn on the station wagon. Went to church...came home and I decided to hem some pants. You would think that with a 'professional' seamstress in the house there would be at least one sewing needle....looked all over and couldn't find one

Oh I think knitting and kittens mix pretty well -- that is, if you don't really care about finishing any knitting. :-)

I gave up my embroidery hobby five years ago, as part of my 2004 Total Clean Out. I looked at all my unfinished kits and decided either to finish them or to throw them out. It took me all summer, but I finalized all the kits and resolved not to buy any more. [crochet blanket, embroider tablecloth, Ren Faire cloak and purse, cross-stich Christmas cards. Since then I've only done a few little things and altered some clothing.

The calendar is about the only thing I have left...I don't plan on buying anything else after that either.
