The dub was surprisingly good, actually... I was thoroughly impressed. (I'm someone who might listen to at least a bit of a dub to give it a chance and thank those that brought it over here, but when I have a choice, SUBTITLES PLEASE.)
As for BirdGirl, YES! Yes I do! Yay friend! XD And no need to apologize... she's held the same place in my heart since she first appeared in that commercial for the show, and the trumpet fanfare just sealed it.
Also, on another note, imagine my surprise last night when I found out that I knew you via Megan (aka MelodicBlue) as well. XD
I'll give it a shot, if anything to support anime in theaters. Besides, it's Ghibli. No matter what Disney does to it it'll still be good.
Small world! That's cool. She's so sweet! I think I met her through Harry Potter somehow, but atm I'm drawing a blank. We've been on each other's lists for nearly forever...
Yes, I'm hoping to cosplay her someday as well. XD
And that's always a good reason to check out an anime movies. Aside from it being Ghibli, regardless of Disney, rest assured that it's still great, thanks in no small part to John Lasseter's hard work. Once again, Pixar steps in to keep things right even when it's not a Pixar film. XD
Small world indeed! And yes... yes she is. She's admittedly one of my favorite coworkers. I met her through the aquarium, since whilst I'm trying to get to husbandry, I'm starting in her department. XD
Awesome! Small world! XD That's actually the theater that I caught the midnight showing of Up at. I thought that was closer to your area, but I didn't realize it was THAT close. Maybe we should try to catch a movie there and hang out sometime. ^_^
In any case, like I said in my entry, this was a special pre-release showing, but it should be playing there come this Friday. Here's hoping at least.
