Really? Galaxy2?

I didn't feel like it added anything to the franchise. Galaxy1 was just so fulfilling that I didn't even need a sequel. Heck, I has levels on Galaxy1 that I never got to because I beat the game before ever getting there.

Super Mario Wii I felt added more with their creative 2d level designs and 4-player co-op deathmatch.

Maybe it's just that Galaxy1 had the princess that gave me a strong emotional connection with the game, and in 2, there was just an obese Star crying out for an Oprah intervention.

I agree, but it was a faithful sequel with worthy new levels, and despite the glaring lack of Rosalina (I wasn't happy about that either) I've still enjoyed what I've played of it so far. The gameplay and everything is brilliant, and even if it's not as amazing as the first, to me, it's very nearly just as fun. I've still got a couple of levels to beat on Galaxy 1, but I've got 104 stars and I was ready to just beat Bowser instead of sitting one hit from doing so like I had for a while.

Also, keep in mind I've only been playing it recently since I had too much of a backlog earlier in the year, so it's fresh in my mind, but it's still amazing.

And I knew I was forgetting a game. Curses, trying to fill out a meme too quickly. Thanks Fred... it's been added now. XD Super Mario Wii is incredibly fun... and I need to continue on where I last left off there. XD
