Yay for art classes!

What is with people and Chaucer? You're the second person in two days to tell me they had no idea who Chaucer was (although now, of course, you do). Yesterday Daniel said that, and it drove another friend of mine to rush outside and smoke. :P

Haha. Dunno...I come from a Shakespeare happy family. We dont really discuss much lit at home and I wasn't born into the fam....

I mean, do we really need to know Chaucer? I think he just isn't quoted much (or at all...) and so people don't learn about him until he gets covered in class. *shrugs*

I think I did some reading of a couple of his tales in high school, and then did a more thorough covering in a Chaucer college class (of which I remember nothing). But I consider him fairly high up there, with Shakespeare.

Thats funny. I dont think we covered him at all in high school and I chose to take this class. So, if I didn't choose to take this class I still wouldn't know who he is!!
