Okay. So Dragon*Con room arrangements look good. Somehow I'd gotten the impression a couple more people had planned to crash in my room, which would've been problematic. Mostly the same crew as last year, with an upgrade to include Enju/My Chair-i-cuffs protege/the King of Denmark/resident Heino-expert/Russell. Same rules/warnings/blah-blah-blah as

Yay! They would still live a LoliTea too, but they'd leave the organization and how you wanted to structure it (pre-purchased tickets or whatever) up to you. If you want to do the tea thing, or know someone that would, it might be good to come with me to the next staff meting to dicuss the possibility.

Well...if they want a loli-tea I think it might be a little too pre-mature for that. Considering what I saw at Conji last year, there wasn't a huge turnout of lolitas. On top of that, my friend who was in artist alley, selling lolita things didn't do too well on business. I think it might be better to do this in 2 phases:

This year: Lolita panel
Next year: Lolita tea

This will allow those who actually attended the session to be inspired by the panel to actually go out and get some lolita garb in that time.

Yeah. Obviously, I can't bring anything. I don't think we'll need much though. We didn't really drink much in the room last year aside from wine at the masquerade viewing. (You should! Also take vitamins as to not get sick. ;) )

Well our specific group is me, Lane, and our friend David. I'm doing Chani, Lane is Paul Maud D'ib, and David started out as a Random Fremen; but since the coloring of his suit is one of a sietch leader, I've decided he's going to be Stilgar. ^_^

We also have a couple more people joining our parade group, but I'm pretty sure they are Random Fremen. One of them is who the other set of hooks are going to. Lane is getting the hooks in our group since there is a big scene in the movie where Paul rides the worm for the first time.

Haha. I'm not that great, but I pick up a few new tricks every year. This year I've added a lot of wire-work for creating bases to my repertoire.
