That's cool that Cassandra Clare has books published -- the VSDs were awesome. I'm a little surprised that that's her real name, though -- somehow figured it was a fabulous pseudonym or maybe her first and middle names, haha.

It is a pseudonym- at least Clare isn't her surname, anyway. And her site says she took Cassandra from a Jane Austen story. Personally, I think she's banking on her internet celebrity to help sell the books. Or at least her publishing company is. (Also, it makes her less likely to be hunted down by angry mob about copy/paste from her fanworks into her published works. *shrugs*)
