I rarely find american quotes inspiring or epitome-inducing. Generally, they (the quotes) seem brash and hasty. Hardly ever worldy and encompassing a global humanity.

I agree wholeheartedly, especially when you take into account the Suribachi is also the japanese word for mortar & pestle...
