GoF RULES. Seriously.

I FINALLY saw GoF today after-school. And... yeah. I can't really write a coherent review, but it is definitely the best out of the four.

Yes, I agree it was a bit jumpy. And yes, they did miss out a fair bit. But y'know what? It wasn't actually half as bad as people were fearing. It was hardly a, 'OMG we've just lost half the book in one GO,' affair. All the important stuff (well, most of it- I can't wait to see Steve Kloves try to explain how the Weasley twins suddenly got 10,000 Galleons now...) was still there.

The TWINS. I actually adored them in this film. Normally it's just a mild love. But this is full adoration. They rock.

Those acting classes Mike Newell invested in? Definitely worth it, if you ask me. All 3 were noticeably better. There was no-one who I wanted to shoot (although WHOSE idea was it to put the sodding Patil twins BOTH in Gryffindor?!) in the juvenile cast. The adults... spot on. Dumbledore's jumping accent annoyed me a bit, but all of them were undoubtedly excellent. (Oh, and Snape's physical-abuse-that-would-lead-to-a-court-case-anywhere-else of Ron and Harry during prep thing? Loved it. Especially the rolling of the sleeves. A class detail to add.

I did cry over Cedric's death. Beautifully done, I have to say. The slow realisation of everyone... oh, it was so sweet. And Amos' reaction= tears from me. That's all I shall say.

I would say more, but I've just read a fantastic parody of the film and am therefore completely unable now to keep a stright face over several important dramatic bits.
