Tim had been sort his laundry to put away when he saw it. He picked it up, examined it from a few different angles, and almost put it back down. He resisted the urge to crumple it up and throw it in the trash can and instead headed back into the common room. "Abs? You still here?" He held up the shirt in his hands, almost as a peace offering ( Read more... )

The shelf clearly felt that Abby wasn't reading enough fun things (although she debated with it about what was fun and what wasn't), so it wouldn't give her anything but silly vampire novels now. It was weird to see Anita's name on some of them, so she'd passed them by, but she'd picked up the one with the hands holding an apple and the one with the blonde floating in midair. She'd started with the hands holding an apple one. In hindsight, that wasn't such a good idea. It was just weird. The vampires sparkled and played baseball, to name just two weird things. There were more.

When Tim called out, she called back, "Yeah, I'm in here" but didn't get up from the bed. Things between them were at least not totally awkward and she liked it that way, although she still sort of hurt when she thought about New Year's Eve.

Tim ducked his head in, checking to make sure she was decent before actually coming in. He couldn't help it if he was just a little shy. He didn't really have the right to come in unasked, anymore, even if he was sure that Abby wouldn't mind.

"I think you might be missing something?" he said, thrusting the shirt out in front of him. It was something black with skulls and definitely not his size.

She hadn't rescinded his invitation, to quote the vampire books, but it was cute to see him walk so carefully, like she was gonna flash him at any moment. Not that she wasn't tempted, but that wouldn't help. Much.

When he held the shirt out almost like a peace offering, she had to bite back the giggle as she put the book down and held out a hand for the shirt. "Yeah, pretty sure that's not gonna fit you. Plus the skulls aren't really your style. Not usually anyway."

There had been that goth night, but she was pretty sure he didn't want to be reminded of that.

"You mean they're only not when I'm free of your wicked influence?" Tim lifted an eyebrow wryly at her and smirked. "Don't think I haven't realized how you've corrupted me." Of course, he was pretty sure that he hadn't complained about some of it. Most of it. Almost everything. That wasn't the point.

He tossed the shirt at her. "Here. Just found it in my laundry and figured you might want it back."
