Hee! Well, it's not got the trio, but please tell me you've seen Men with Brooms.

Yay, due South! I've only seen bits and pieces, but know of its awesomeness. Once I get a job and have ended my The Invisible Man revival, I will need to see the whole thing.

Men With Brooms: I remember seeing at least part of it during that party at Talia's a couple of years back. I probably should hunt it down and watch it again properly one of these days, though!

Omg, the idea of Hewlett and Fillion together is fantabulous.

Paul Gross played Benton Fraser the Super Mountie on Due South, and also was Geoffrey Tenant on 'Slings & Arrows'--if you've any Shakespeare love in you, you must check the latter down...as quite a few people around this post would certainly tell you as well!

Okay, but you HAVE seen Slings & Arrows, RIGHT? (I cannot imagine a world where you haven't.)

And it's Constable Fraser. :)

never got around to seeing due south but if you like paul gross you must have seen slings and arrows. i can't believe i've never mentioned it to you. I got into it b/c the writers also wrote 'drowsy chaperone' and originated role of 'man in chair'. he was actually in some eps too and he and Paul had some fantastic interactions.

I've only seen season 1 but its on my list of things to do someday when i get netflix.

Yup...as I commented to Shaye as well, I finally got to see all of Slings & Arrows last year. And of course I adored it!

Hehehehehheh, of course. *g* Managed to find all three seasons of that through the library system in Cleveland last year, and naturally I adored them.

Fraser = AWESOME.

*already RP's him elsewhere*

I think you'll find as you go along that he's not *quite* like Clark Kent. I think he's way more complex than that, IMO.

I look forward to getting to know Constable Fraser better. Though I do think the original Mr. Kent (or at least, the modern comics incarnation of the original Clark Kent) is more complex a fellow than most folks give him credit for...

Fraser! Yay! Benton Fraser is one of my very favorite fictional characters ever. Due South = love. (And, IMO, it doesn't start really cooking with all burners until one of the later episodes of S1: "The Gift of the Wheelman." That's where Fraser's dad's ghost shows up and everything goes to a new level of wacky.)

Also, I would pay much money to see the film you suggested.
