OK, so I'm not doing so well with the posting every week deal. However, it's only been about 3 weeks this time, instead of a month. But not much has been happening.
I went north to the Performer's Revel, which was a blast. I sat and worked on my weaving while listening to the music and stories, and Igor's food was, as always, scrumptous. Axel ( Read more... )

I still recall a Crown Tourney, many years ago (during Barry & Simone's first reign) and sitting with the Black Diamond and Windmaster's Hill contingents in the back of a hall with absolutely awful accoustics. You couldn't hear anyone. All of the peers went up to swear their fealty. mumblemumblemumble. However, Sir Volodimir's entire oath was ledgible, and he ended it with, ". . . and a voice which can be heard AT THE BACK OF THE HALL!!!" We all cheered, and I think the monarchs were nearly deafened!
