Busy elf is very happy

Have been a busy elf here. Lots of having coffee with the oldsters around here. Good people, even if I often have a different opinion which has caused me to bite my tongue quite often. But for the most part, it's all good times.

Waitaminute! Tami called? My goodness. Did that go well, O busy elvish one?

Yes, she did. We've been having communication since shortly after I moved in here, mostly online, but this is like the second or third such call. Taking it slowly and lovingly, we are. I called her the weekend I moved here from my cell (before the landline was installed) to let her know. she hung up when she realized who it was, then I got an online apology a few days later, and then a phone call. I've yet to see her face to face, but I am certain that will yet happen eventually when the time is right.

No, Tom, you didn't miss it. I didn't post about it. I kind of wanted to wait a bit before sharing. Actually, just living in the now, neither rehashing past or worrying about the future, makes this and other things in life much easier.
