Favourite characters - round 3
I enjoy this meme, and I've done it twice before: Round 1 and Round 2, so here we go again with the 2009 remix, because I know what I like with or without avocado puree :-)
Warning, eclectic mixture, in no particular order - some may be somewhat obscure ;-)
1. Post a list of 20? fandoms.
2. Have your friends list guess your favourite character from each fandom
3. When guessed, bold the fandom, put in brackets who got it and a sentence about why you like the character/person.

2. The Lord of the Rings
3. Girl Genius (webcomic)
4. Irregular Webcomic
5. Star Trek (all series)
6. Barbarella (movie)
7. JLA (Justice League cartoon series): Batman (halotolerant), although sometimes it's The Flash - for being utterly pragmatic and ruthless, and yet a good guy really, although he'd hate to admit it.
8. Farscape
9. Watership Down: Bigwig (halotolerant) - because he is macho, but still smart enough to learn from Hazel and the others, and loyal beyond measure.
10. Take That: Mark (extreme_queen), (although when I read Halo's insomnia fic it's Howard) - because he is so beautifully enthusiastic, and perhaps because of cenea's influence. (yes, I've come to the western spiral arm of bandom via Top Gear, deal with it!)
11. High School Musical (I haven't been made to watch HSM3 yet)
12. Being Human: George (ci5rod and johnnypurple) - because he is utterly adorable, geeky and yet sporadically smart and moral, also SHIRTS!
13. Order of the Stick (webcomic)
14. Hornblower: Captain Pellew (cenea) - because of the whole pragmatic but competent leader thing, and the way he is permanently boggled by Horatio.
15. A Very Peculiar Practice (very old BBC university medical comedy)
16. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (radio series, books and film, yes, I am that old)
