Hah! *g* All the montages I saw suggested that someone at the BBC has rightly been told 'just do whatever seems amusing' - there was a 'lightning strikes' medley for Nadal/Rossol and some lovely pumped-up vid montages of Andy Murray including ridiculous scottish culture references: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01kntmq/Wimbledon_2012_BBC_One_Mens_Final/ (40 minute mark or so - just before is Marray and Nielsen being all sweet *g*)
Hmmmm, Johnnie and Freddie are a great partnership that really work well together and enhance each other so I think it'd have to be an all-time double act like Holmes and Watson or Bodie and Doyle *g* Except they're so sweetly casual too. Oooh it's such a fairy story really - come on, make me a movie of it someone!
Make Jonnie and Freddie Blue Beetle and Booster Gold. From Justice League International, they are a couple of wise-cracking second-raters, always cheerful, and occasionally very successful, even though Batman always frowns on them for being frivolous.
It's a good piece, but I think it was put together by a watcher of films, not a reader of comics. Or else by someone who knows that many more people watch films than read comics.
