I work about five blocks away the party site, which is about halfway between 6A's office and the one I work at.

Maybe I need to go to an ElJay party.

Somehow I think it could be an interesting experience to see the people behind the LJ names/icons... and see if they really are arseholes in real life as well.

To make a post like that in the news community looks more than a little unprofessional, imo. I wouldn't mind one bit if it had been a post in someone's private journal, but this? Erm, no.
