Preventing the fat people from eating in restaurants won't force them to cook -- they can just as easily eat Twinkies.

All this seems to do is remove the aesthetic blight (?) of fat people from restaurants, so nobody's appetite will be disturbed. Or something.

Now, if they were to make spandex a privilege that could be revoked, I might listen. :-)

Honey, no state legislature in any of the fifty states make sense. If you think it's just Mississippi that's crazy, you haven't been paying attention to what your own state legislature does.

I have a friend who works for a California state legislator. I've heard farrrrr too much about this broken state's law-making process for my own good.

In fact, a lot of why I won't buy a house here stems from what I've learned from that friend. *shudder*

And why not force the people who comfort eat into a situation where they can't socialise with their friends?
