I was there years and years ago with a friend for three weeks and it was a very very nice holiday (not only Bangkok, but we were traveling in Thailand). My mom really likes thai things (had a thai boyfriend, likes thai food) and she never ever did a holiday that is so far away. I think she would love it there and I would love to show it to her.
