I'm sitting here in my room drinking a bottle of wine that's been uncorked for three days and thus any good taste it might have had is well and thoroughly gone (though it's still quite effective in its purpose - namely, getting me tipsy.) It's not just a cliché, it is really easy to find yourself when backpacking through Europe. It sure has opened up my mind.
