OK, I don't know how the friending thing works. I have to take the time to read up on this. I need some time to just sit and mess around in here. No time at work right now.
Hi Erika! I've added you as a friend so you can see all the entries in my journal. If you click on my user name in this entry, you'll get to my journal, which I know you've already done. If you then click on "profile," you'll see the names of the folks who are on my friends' list. I think you'll recognize most of the names. You can click on their names to get to their journals and then introduce yourself in one of their public posts so they know you're here.
If you decide to make friends-only posts, you'll need to add us to your friends list. You can do this from our "user info" pages. You just click on the "button" that has a person's head and a plus sign.
The LJ FAQ is very helpful. Among other things, it explains how to add a picture to your user name. The site map may also be helpful.
Thanks! I did see familiar names, but I noticed I can't post a comment to them, they don't have any public entries. But, I'm making my way and getting the hang of things. I'm going to spend some time reading the FAQs!

I'm still confused about this place too. Usually I just cut and paste me entries from my WC journal (yes, I can't seem to give that place up) into my LJ. So I honestly haven't figured much out around here.
One thing is for sure, I HATE the HTML tags you have to use here compared to the nice easy ones over in WC and EZ board.
Knock, knock! You can really work miracles Erika, I hope you know that. I went all nutso and started a journal. I hope you stop by my new digs. I have not been musing much, but it is a start.
