So, a few major plot developments were revealed... Liked the episode? Loved it? Adored it? Thought it was the best ever? (Because, really, what are the alternatives?!)

To paraphrase ep 1 of How I Met Your Mother:
"There IS no sign. But yeah, that was the sign..."

When she says "I love you," that's the sign. KISS HER! ARG! Eli!

All my other thoughts are secondary to that...

TOTALLY THE BEST EVER. I laughed, I cried, I laughed some more. It was a seriously great episode. The exodus was so heartbreaking, especially the Dowd's!

I like how they referenced Star Wars AGAIN. Everything with Eli and Maggie was very cute. HOWEVER: I am a little confused about him apparently ACTUALLY not having feelings for her. Have I been watching the show wrong this whole time?

i don't think he didn't say "ILY" to Maggie because he doesn't have feelings for her.
He does, but he is not ready to admit it. And i think he didn't say anything cause he didn't want her to make a choice because he said he loved her.

Eli is still getting used to being a prophet and having all the visions.

And Chen told him that he (Eli) already knew destiny CAN be changed!!! That is the most simple and most important line of the show.

But it was so heartbreaking Maggie and Eli goodbye scene.

And she is not stupid, she knows why she was offered the job, but she's trying to make good of a bad situation.

I loved this episode... i won't even say that after all the heart Matt put on the case he decided to leave. When he shows some heart... but well.

Eli and Patty... love those two. They are amazing together!!!

And the last scene with Eli and Jordan was huge right?? Can't wait for next episode.

This episode was the second best this season, but i still think "The Path" had much more impact on the show.

Clearly, with this much Matt in one episode, I was going to love it, and the writers didn't let me down. I thought Matt's characterisation was perfect - we know he's a good guy underneath and that when he cares about a case it does affect him (Jayson Turk, Jessica's custody case), but his protection mechanism for years has been to avoid putting himself in those situations so he doesn't get hurt.

And Posner made him a full partner... of course he was going to take the job. I would have been disappointed had he not ( ... )

Augh this episode was just brilliant, definately getting my hopes up for the rest of season 2 <3

All the characters reacted as I had hoped, and it's nice to see that Maggie isn't just following Eli anymore, while yes sad that it was her decision to leave the firm :{

I also like how Jordan & Eli's relationship is becoming more of friendship (than just professional), and both of them respecting each other, fun fun, I really look forward to more episodes!

I liked all the Eli/firm moments (and loved the Eli/Maggie moments), but hated the legal storyline...mainly because I have close friends who are Pakistani and the woman's accent was completely off and I felt like they went crazy with the stereotypes. I ended up putting the show on mute whenever they were in court because it was driving me nuts. But I don't watch Eli Stone for the law...which is good, because it's usually wrong most of the time.

I'm kind of miffed with Matt Dowd, to be honest, but then again, I guess everyone can't be a prophet.
