He was affianced. Mark is one of those who takes hits and then gets back up again.
Although, some irate female blasted off on his facebook page about how he was a lying cheater and we should be commiserating with Carolyn rather than Mark. I tried to politely point out that I don't Carolyn from a hole in the wall, and even though I feel vaguely bad for her, too, I'd be a poor friend to abandon a friend based on some stranger's say-so. Ah, well. He'll survive, and if he was cheating, maybe he'll learn to at least be open with his monogamy issues...and if he wasn't, maybe he'll learn not to date the overly jealous type. (I know, unlikely in either case, but I remain an optimist, to there. :p)
