That tornado outbreak yesterday ripped through part of Jacksonville, NC (Camp LeJuene)...Grandma lives in the next town over, as does a bunch of the cousins on her side. I'm glad your gram is okay. When it rains blue whales, you really should take cover, and not just a bus or bus shelter. A fall out shelter MIGHT be enough. (just how many tons DOES a blue whale weight anyways...)

Actually, I didn't recognize the air raid for that for the first several months. Generally, they're kind of ignored. Probably not a good thing. The town does test it one Saturday every month. The first one, I think. Nobody seemed to be scrambling for cover. I'm not sure we had NOAA warnings for tornados, either.

...I was a bit nervous about that bus...
