My college roommate, Melissa Kiely, had her long awaited second baby, Emma, yesterday.

So, I talked to Mom very briefly this morning. I think eldest uncle held the phone for her. But she was aware enough to respond to his "It's E" and to say "Hi, baby" to me on the phone. I asked her how she was and she said tired. That was about the extent of it. It won't be long, and never long enough.

Good lord, what a scary sight!! The bus had 1 seat left when it reached Belle (it's halfway point and my stop) and quickly revelers (and a few going to work or lunch with the spouse *looks innocent*) They screamed and shrieked around every corner. So, it's only 344 page pdf of subcommittee findings that would be very useful for my paper.

I'm tired.

I wanna see the Chieftains! They'll be in Dayton in February........but I would have a dratted hard time getting to and from Dayton. Grrr.
