Today was nice. It was my grandmother's birthday. We didn't do anything really special, but we played games and fixed a nice dinner and tried to make an ice cream cake that turned into the Blob that Melted on Everything. It was a good blob though. I love my gradmother. She is one of the most sagacious people I know. And she's a good example

This was the only way that I could think of getting in touch with you outside of actually calling or seeing you face-to-face, but who does that now-a-days? Anyway, I agree with you; The Great Divorce was a good book. C.S. Lewis is a great writer. Also, what did you think of the Phantom?

I haven't gotten to see the movie yet, but I have heard him sing and I wasn't too impressed. But I'm very picky because the Phantom sings my favorite song from the whole musical (Music of the Night).
