Thank you very much! Especially for the concrete explanation. It's so interesting. And I don't mind if you like three best. :) I feel even more honoured. Thank you! ♥
So interesting! I'm not an artist myself but I love to hear about the process.
Tracing the lines makes the black & white really stand out. As for the colored versions, I definitely prefer the one you call "muggle-version" (aquarell1.jpg) to the "magic" version (swaquarellps.jpg), but I imagine it takes longer.
But prettiest of all is the last one (photoshop1.jpg). Wow!
Well, let me clarify...when someone can colour the way you do, I love to see both actually.
Sometimes when I see line art, and then it's coloured later, I don't like it. So I'd rather view the line art. There was one instance that the artist used rich colours, when (I think) the picture was crying out for soft, subtle colour. But I'm not an expert, I just know what I like.
The all PS (7) and the b/w watercolor with PS (3) are a tie for me, I like both better than the "muggle" watercolors because they have more contrast I think, the other seem flatter somehow. The colored version I prefer next is the watercolor with lineart (6).
Thank you very much for your comment! It's so interesting to know what other people think concerning the different versions. I think the PS version is the winner, but I'm also very surprised how many people also like the b/w watercolour. Interesting!
Well, the final version is of course gorgeous, but getting to see how you do it, how it starts with the sketch and how you develop it, it is all really interesting, I really like the sketches, the initial one, then the one on photoshop...actually, since you use different techniques each one has something special.

1) The second one. I love this b&w watercolour. As you said, the contrast is really striking, and I generally love the mood of a b&w piece.
2) The third one, for the exact same reasons you gave. I love its contrast and vivid colours.
3) The last one. Because - what can I say? I like digital art. ;) And I love how clean and shiny it looks. The long dress especially looks amazing.
And now I refuse to choose a most favourite. It was hard enough to pick three. :D

I'm very surprised you usually prefer lineart. I did not expect it, but it's good to know. ;)
