Today I got hired as an independent contractor and I start the contract on Monday. I was hoping not to have to do this (I never wanted to fill out a 1099) but at this point I have to compromise a little. Another unfortunate point is that is far enough away where I am forced to drive. This might turn to chaos around the time Gabriella is born, but

Well, I'm not sure if I'd go that far. But if the tax stuff isn't the nightmare I'm predicting, I might remain a Ronin. ;)

Being a ronin is cool, but if taxes are a big concern, yoo really should consider being a shogun, then everything becomes a tax write-off if yor creative.
