My grandpa died

I got the news on Monday morning, my first full day back in Seattle. He had been sick for sometime with colon cancer, angina, parkinsons, you name it. I'd been steeling myself for awhile that he probably wasn't going to make it through the year but I was still shocked to hear the news. Apparently he went in his sleep and he was at home which

Wow. What a tribute you have posted to him. What a wonderful guy....it's such an amazing end to a life to have people remember such great things -- and it sounds like he was a really incredible grandpa. I lost my grandpa a few years ago and still smile when I think of him....

I am thinking about you. Take care of yourself and I would love to give you a hug when I see you, too...
