That's the impetus of a whole history of literature. My slapdash novel was called Fifty Thousand Failed Attempts at Honesty (It was fifty thousand words long)

You are a sweet good man. Thank you for the compliment. I have been going through a lot of changes though and I think there will be more to come. That's probably what she meant. But I am feeling better put together than I'v ever been.

I would like to read your slapdash novel. Can I get a copy?

Oh, um, it's not really that readable. I can get you a copy of one of my chapbooks as a consolation, though.

FIVE YEARS??? That must have been said ten years ago, is all I can think of. I admire and respect you so much! (And I know for a FACT that I'm not the only one).

I love Autumn. It seems to inspire the "on the verge of something life changing and good" more than any other time.

Thank you for the respect and admiration! I whole-heartedly feel the same way about you. A mutal friend of ours was just saying the other day how much he admired your integrity and i have to agree. You have a very good sense of yourself and I really admire that.
