I have what I think is a spyware issue, but I'm not sure. I have some sort of program that's glued itself to my Explorer and it changes the home page to a default even when I reset it. I think it goes to homepage.com which is a rotating, ad-heavy pop-up kind of thing. I have an adware/spyware removal program but it doesn't seem to touch it. Any ( Read more... )

I was having the same problem, here's what my friend Rob suggested, worked pretty well for me. You can find them by doing a search on lavasoft or ad-aware.

I liked Ad-Aware by Lavasoft--the standard edition is freeware.

Thanks for responding! I actually have that and I ran the scan but I'm still having the same issue. Is there anything in particular that you had Ad Ware do? Maybe I'm not running it right...

I don't know, but I always ask Gabe this kind of stuff, when he can't help, he has friends that can, you might want to email him! :)
