I understand that circumstances come up where people have to call in, but this is getting fucking ridiculous. This is the second time in as many weeks where the closer called in and I've had to scramble trying to get someone to come in to close so I'm not working a 10 hour day. I hate this shit. Girl, I feel you. I actually had to stay last Friday and this week ain't looking all that great.

OH man, that sucks. It really pisses me off when the closing person of the lab calls in. With me being the specialist I really have no other choice but to close. 13 hour days really suck hard. I feel your pain.

I luckily haven't had to stay excessively, but it just bugs me that the possibility has to even exist because we just don't have the spare staff to call in.

if it were even close to overtime, I wouldn't mind. I wouldn't mind staying, but I also know that I would only have the opportunity to get food, and no guarantee that I would be able to eat it.

I'm trying not to complain too much about it. Really, I'm not. It's just something that irritated me on Monday.

And I think it may make me a tool because I'd rather stay and close just so it's done smoothly rather than call someone in who would mess everything up for the opener to have to fix.
