1- I loved the fact that they all interacted. I loved that Rose admitted Martha was good. I loved seeing so many people in the Tardis.
2- Is it wrong for me to agree with Davros? Because, yes the Doctor makes people different. Most of the time that means fighting stuff. Murderers? Jack used to be worse, Martha so far is all threats for a good reason

--- CAN I DISAGREE WITH YOU? I'M GONNA DISAGREE WITH YOU. This second Doctor was the Doctor, and he really couldn't do anything but STAY with Rose. I think the three of them knew that, and the Doctor DOES LOVE Rose a LOT and he knows that as a Time Lord, he can't make her happy, but he can as a human.
I think Rose would've done exactly what she did, she'll think of the Doctor once in a while and wonder if he's fine. But in the end, he's doing what he's done for AGES... and she gets her human.
IN SUMMARY. THE DOCTOR FAILS VERY HARD.

From the characters point of view, it can work, but the whole human!Doctor feels forced. If he hadn't existed (say, the regeneration light hits Donna because she refuses to let him go as he 'dies' and the Doctor doesn't regenerate, but we still get Doctor-y Donna. And then, as Micky decides to stay, so does Rose, because EVERYONE KNOWS SHE WANTS TO STAY. And then we still go nooooo for Donna, but the Doctor does not stay emo and fails less) things could have still happened. It's just that from a tv series POV, we have had Rose as a companion for too long.
I AGREE THAT HE FAILS
